SHIHAN ST. HILAIRE (Head Instructor)
Sensei St. Hilaire - Kaiden - began his Jujitsu training in 1980 under Sensei Ustie
of ZenBudo-Ryu at the Aiki Budokai dojo. He received his Blackbelt in 1985. He
was a Hand-to-Hand Combat and Riot Control Instructor in the U.S. Army. He
was awarded Menkyo Kaiden 7th Degree Blackbelt in 2010. Sensei St. Hilaire
also holds a Blackbelt in Kodenkan-Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu. He has certification as
an Okazaki Restoration Therapist, and as a Personal Protection Specialist.
Sensei St. Hilaire is the author of Pioneers of American Jujitsu and the creator of
Katana Sports Balm.
